Upside down because I printed it to be a map folder brochure

This was a recent project of mine called ‘Whitiwhiti kōrero & Tautoko: Design to inform’: Your task is to design a ‘provocation’ for a Designers Institute of New Zealand (dinz) one-day conference on the topic of communication design. My conference theme was finding you. This is a conference for designers to get inspired and to find themselves through their work. The rhetorical approach I chose were maps I chose parts of the body that created lines to represent the map idea as visual rhetoric. This is conveyed through the veins and the palm lines, as they create lines that look similar to a map. There is also a GPS symbol in the middle of these designs to help ensure that it is a map. The work I produced will gross, shock and confuse people at first glance, however, when looking closer and connecting the title and the GPS symbol, it will convey positive attitudes to attend the conference and to be motivated afterward.
